Gas prices are on the rise once again Stateside and as they reach that now-not-so-elusive $4+ moniker we’re all searching for ways to help ease the hit on our wallets. After some observations on my gas pumping habits I came up with this notion: Don’t wait until the tank’s nearly empty to fill up, fill up when the tank’s 1/2 to 1/3 full.

Pancakes are a great addition for a weekend breakfast meal – but what makes them outstanding is adding a variety of ingredients to spice them up.

Spinach sautee is a great healthy dish that swings both ways, it can either be vegetarian or carnivorous, and it works well as a side dish or as the main entree. What’s best about this dish is that it’s up for interpretation and it’s at the cook’s discretion on what to put in. The following is my own personal rendition.

The location was on northbound highway 101 just before the 280/680 overpass when a driver speeding in upwards of 80mph comes dashing in the fast line past me only to abruptly cut across three lanes to the far right lane. While maintaining its speed the driver quickly approaches a much slower big rig and proceeds to tailgate the truck for about half a mile. How odd.
